Kaspar Wilhelm Betz

Kaspar Wilhelm Betz (born November 17, 1814 in Mainz ; † October 20, 1882 ibid) was a Hessian politician and former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Kaspar Wilhelm Betz was the son of the merchant Georg Wilhelm Betz (1783–1861) and his wife Anna Klara nee Schreck. Kaspar Wilhelm Betz, who was of Catholic faith, married Gertrud Klara nee Nell (1825-1897) after the death of his first wife Katharina nee Jost on April 29, 1851.

Kaspar Wilhelm Betz worked as a trading company in Mainz and was appointed to the council of commerce .

In the 23rd and 24th electoral periods (1878–1882) Kaspar Wilhelm Betz was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. In the state estates he represented the constituency of the city of Mainz . After his death, Johann Falk moved into parliament.
