Yekaterina "Kate" Sergejewna Grigorjewa ( Russian Екатерина Сергеевна Григорьева ; born September 15, 1988 or 1989 in Olenegorsk ) is a Russian model .

Life

Grigoryeva studied marketing at Murmansk State Technical University . She married her long-time friend Alexander in Saint Petersburg in 2015 . and got divorced in 2016. She has been married to the Russian soccer player Anton Schunin since 2018 .

Career

Grigoryeva took part in the casting for Miss Russia 2010 in 2010 , but dropped out in the final selection process. In 2012 she again took part in the Miss Russia 2012 competition as a representative of the Murmansk Oblast and reached the top 10. In 2012 she took part in the Top Model po.russki competition and together with her sister Valentina Gregorjewa came second. In 2014 she made a debut at New York Fashion Week . She was named one of the top newcomer models of the 2014 winter season by the models.com website . Up until then she had modeled for Givenchy , Versace , Gucci , Dolce & Gabbana , Alexander McQueen , Balmain , Emanuel Ungaro , Moschino and Emilio Pucci, among others .

She opened the DSquared and Stella McCartney Spring / Summer collection in 2015 and modeled at photo shoots for M Missoni , H&M , Moncler and Versace . She appeared in Victoria's Secret fashion catalogs and featured in local editions of Vogue , Contributor , iD , Pop and Numéro catalogs .

On December 2, 2014, she made her debut with her fellow candidate for Miss Russia Irina Sharipova at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2014. In April 2015, Grigoryeva was announced as one of the new ten "Victoria's Secret Angels" and appeared in July 2015 in the Victoria's Secret Body by Victoria Commercial.

In October 2015, the Cosmopolitan classified Gregorjewa as one of the most successful people in the modeling scene.
