Katelyn Nacon (born June 11, 1999 in Atlanta , Georgia ) is an American actress and singer-songwriter . She gained international fame primarily through her role as Enid in the US television series The Walking Dead .

life and career

Katelyn Nacon is the daughter of the two systems engineers Mark and Natalie Nacon. She started taking ballet lessons at the age of three, and as a child she took part in several local musical productions. She played in pieces such as Annie , The Music Man , Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Hairspray . Her interest in acting increased when she attended an acting workshop. At the age of thirteen she decided to become an actress. She then attended acting classes, camps and workshops in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area and in Los Angeles and got her first significant engagement in film and television in 2013 when she played the supporting role of Megan for the Christian production Loving Generously was cast.

In the same year she was also seen in the short film The Audition , in the drama Psychology of Secrets and in Rondell Sheridan's family film Second Chances . In the Midst , another short film with Nacon, was also completed in 2013. Her breakthrough helped among other things an appearance in an episode of Resurrection in 2014, when she played a girl who spied on the main character of the series Jacob Langston (played by Landon Gimenz ).
