A house by the sea is a drama by director Helmut Metzger from 2020 . The main roles are played by Ulrike Folkerts as the resigned employee Anne Clark and Götz Schubert as her former lover Joe Coleman.

action

Anne is kicked out of her company because she is 60 years old. While trying to build a new life for herself, she meets Joe again. He was once her lover and is now in a relationship with her daughter. This fact causes some confusion at first, since Joe apparently cannot remember Anne.

In the course of the plot, Anne manages to clear things up, and at the end of the film Anne and Joe become a couple again.
