Stephan Szász

Stephan Szász (* 1966 in Witzenhausen ) is a German actor .

Life

Stephan Szász studied acting at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media from 1990 to 1995 and received his first engagement at the Bremerhaven City Theater in the year of his graduation . Other stages in his stage career included the Schauspiel Köln , the theaters in Bremen and Bonn , the Nationaltheater Mannheim , the Schauspielhaus Zürich , the Deutsche Oper Berlin , the Staatstheater Braunschweig and Karlsruhe , the Theater am Kurfürstendamm and the open-air theater Schwäbisch Hall .

Szász was Alfred Ill in visiting the old lady of Friedrich Dürrenmatt , the ballad singer in Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's Threepenny Opera or Mephisto in Urfaust of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe . He embodied title roles in Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare , Don Karlos by Friedrich Schiller , Jedermann by Hugo von Hofmannsthal and King Oedipus by Sophocles .
