Katrin Klein (* in the 20th century in Berlin ) is a German theater and film actress .

life and career

Katrin Klein was born in Berlin as the daughter of the actor Erik S. Klein . She received her training at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in her hometown. After that, she took on roles on stage and in front of the camera.

Katrin Klein has been a member of the ensemble at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin since 1979 . There she played various leading roles, including in The Sad Story of Frederick the Great , in Danton's Death and Dance of Death , all three pieces in the production of Alexander Lang . She also played with Friedo Solters in his Wallenstein production and with Frank Castorf in Paris Paris and in John Gabriel Borkmann . Since 2001, Katrin Klein has been working with award-winning directors such as Lars Norén, Armin Petras, Barbara Frey, Michael Thalheimer and Jürgen Gosch.

Klein has also appeared in films and television since the 1970s. Her voice can also be heard in radio plays, including in Deutschlandradio Berlin (1997) and Der Meister und Margerita (MDR 1998 / Der Hörverlag 2003).
