Keith Szarabajka (born December 3, 1952 in Oak Park , Illinois ) is an American actor and voice actor .

Life

Keith Szarabajka was born to Anne and Edward Szarabajka. His family has Polish roots. After high school he studied at the University of Chicago and later at Trinity University in San Antonio . From 1972 to 1978 he trained as an actor at the theater in his hometown of Chicago. He got his first small role in 1982 in the film Missing .

In the course of his work as an actor, Szarabajka played in various television series such as Star Trek: Raumschiff Voyager , The X-Files , Charmed , 24 and Law & Order . His better-known television roles include his leading role in the series Der Equalizer and the role of the hunter Daniel Holtz in the series Angel - Hunters of Darkness . In the field of film, Szarabajka was able to increase his popularity primarily through his role as detective Stephens in the Batman film adaptation The Dark Knight .

As a voice actor, he lent his voice to numerous characters in animation series and computer games. For example, Xardas in the English language version of Gothic 3 .
