The Kenyan Military Ordinariate is a military ordinariate in Kenya and is responsible for the Kenyan armed forces .
history
The military ordinariate cares for members of the Kenyan armed forces of Catholic denominations with pastoral care. It was established by Pope Paul VI. Established on January 20, 1964 as a military vicariate . By mutual agreement between the Holy See and the Republic of Kenya, the seat of the Kenyan military ordinariate is in Nairobi . It was raised to a diocese on July 21, 1986 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Spirituali militum curae .
