Michelle Kerryn Pethybridge-Rim , born as Michelle Kerryn Rim (born September 7, 1962 in Myrtleford ) is a former Australian biathlete who was among the world's best in the second half of the 1980s.

Kerryn Pethybridge-Rim lives and trained in Melbourne and started for the Victorian Biathlon Association . The nurse started biathlon in 1983. She started biathlon in 1983 and quickly made her debut in the biathlon world cup . In the middle of the decade she was one of the most successful biathletes. The best result in the overall World Cup was sixth in the 1985/86 season . At the first Biathlon World Championships in Chamonix in 1984 she was 31st in the individual and 28th in the sprint, in 1986 in Falun the ranks 31st in the individual and ten in the sprint. At the World Championships in Lahti a year later , Pethybridge-Rim finished 25th in the individual and 15th in the sprint. The Australian ran her best World Championship in 1989 in Feistritz , where she was tenth in the sprint and 13th in the individual. In 1990 she was 34th of the individual, in 1991 in Kontiolahti 26th of the sprint. Since the introduction of biathlon competitions at the Winter Olympics in Albertville in 1992 , the Australian has participated in three games. In 1992 she was 39th in the sprint and 32nd in the individual, in 1994 she achieved her best Olympic results with 21st place in the sprint and eighth place in the individual in Lillehammer . In 1998 in Nagano again results in the 40s were added. After the games, the married mother of one child ended her career.
