Kevin Artmann (born April 21, 1986 in Duderstadt ) is a German football player who is currently active for Brinkumer SV .
Career
In his youth he first played for Schwarz-Weiß Oldenburg before moving to Werder Bremen in 1994 . Despite the interruption when he played for a year in the B-Jugend of FC Bayern Munich in 2001/02, at the age of 16 he was the player in the squad who played the longest at Werder Bremen. When the time of his return is counted, he was the longest of all Werder players after Frank Baumann's career ended, together with Aaron Hunt .
Artmann was never used in the Bundesliga team. He made his debut for the 2nd Werder Bremen team on July 29, 2005, the 1st matchday of the 2005/06 season in the game against FC St. Pauli in the Regionalliga Nord . He made his professional debut on the 4th match day of the newly founded 3rd division on August 24, 2008 in the game against Erzgebirge Aue .
After the 2010/11 season, his contract with Werder Bremen was not extended. The regularly injured Artmann found no other professional club as an employer and therefore switched to the amateur club TuS Heeslingen in the fifth class Lower Saxony league . A year later he signed with the regional division FC Oberneuland . After the forced relegation of FC Oberneuland, he left the club again in 2013 and moved to BSV Rehden . There he was captain since 2013 and played with the team a. a. 2013/14 in the DFB-Pokal against FC Bayern Munich. In the winter break of 17/18 he left the club and joined the league club TB Uphusen for whom he played until the end of the 2018/19 season. Then he moved back to the Bremen League for Brinkumer SV , where he is also active as a playing assistant coach.
