Kilian Glück (born March 1, 1984 in Selb ) is a German ice hockey player who hunted goals for the Dresdner Eislöwen between 2004 and 2008 and has been under contract with the Saale Bulls Halle since the beginning of the 2008/09 season .

Career

Kilian Glück comes from the offspring of the Selber Wolves , where he went through the youth teams and made his debut in the ice hockey league in the 2001/02 season . In the following season he was part of the squad of the league team and was able to book his first two assists . In the 2003/04 season he scored his first goal in the senior division, in the relegation round of the same season he scored 3 goals and 3 assists in 16 games - a solid performance for an 18-year-old. The manager of the Eislöwen, Jan Tabor , became aware of the fighting strong junior and brought him to Dresden for the coming season, in which he was only used for injuries or penalties of the regular players, but still 16 points (10 goals, six Assists). At the end of the season he was able to celebrate promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga together with his teammates , which he sees as his greatest success so far.

In the first season in the 2nd Bundesliga, Kilian Glück formed the fourth row of Elbe towns with Fabian Burmann (Dresdner Nachwuchs) and Alexander Zille, who got relatively little ice age. However, his contract was extended due to his attitude and potential, so that he was again in the squad of the ice lions in the 2006/07 season and with Sebastian Wolsch and Michael Schmerda formed a fighting and playful series that also regularly got ice times. The Eislöwen team was relegated to the league in 2007, but Kilian Glück was still part of the team. However, he was rarely used in the first half of the season, as he often sat in the stands as a surplus over 21 player. In the middle of the season there were some changes in the squad and injury-related failures, so luck came back to use and found himself in the playoffs in the front row next to Kevin Gardner . This promotion he had won with his combative and defensive-strong play and rewarded their faith especially in shorthanded play back and the puck conquest. In April 2008 he was able to celebrate the league championship and promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga with his teammates.

After this success, his contract was not extended, so he accepted a contract offer from the Saale Bulls from Halle .
