Kim Kyu-hun (born October 17, 1982 in Seoul ) is a former South Korean ice hockey player who won the Asia League Ice Hockey with Anyang Halla in 2010 and 2011 . From 2013 to 2017 he was on the coaching staff of Daemyung Sangmu .

Career

Kim Kyu-hun began his career as a hockey player in the Whimun team, for which he played until 2003. From 2004 to 2007 he played for Kangwon Land, first in the South Korean League and from 2005 in the Asia League Ice Hockey . He then moved to the top team Anyang Halla , with whom he won the Asia League in 2010 and 2011. After the second ALIH championship, he ended his professional career, but played in the Korean ice hockey league for the Titans from 2013 to 2015 . After he was awarded the League's Special Price in 2015 , he ended his active career.

International

For South Korea, Kim Kyu-hun already took part in the U18 World Cup in 2000 in Asia-Oceania Division 1. He made his debut in the men's national team at the 2003 World Cup in Division II. He also played in Division II in 2005 , 2006 and 2007 , when he was the tournament's top scorer and also had the best plus / minus balance of the 2008 World Cup he played in Division I.

At the Winter Asian Games in 2007 and 2011 , he won the bronze medal with the South Korean team behind Kazakhstan (2007 silver and 2011 gold) and Japan (2007 gold and 2011 bronze).
