Kim Nam-hyok (born September 29, 1992 ) is a North Korean ice hockey player .

Career

Kim Nam-hyok represented North Korea in the junior division at the U20 World Championships in 2010 and 2011 in Division III.

He made his debut as a 19-year-old at the 2012 World Cup in Division III for the North Korean national team . Also in 2013 and 2014 he was on the ice for the East Asians in the lowest division. In all three tournaments, the North Koreans only missed promotion to Division II by one place in second (2012 behind Turkey , 2013 behind South Africa and 2014 behind Bulgaria ). In 2015 he played with the East Asians again in the lowest division of the World Championships. This time, with a 4-3 win after extra time in the decisive game against hosts Turkey, he returned to Division II, where he then played in 2016 .

At club level, Kim plays for Pyongchol in the North Korean ice hockey league and was North Korean champion with the club in 2010, 2011 and 2014.
