Kind Kaputt is a post-hardcore band founded in 2016 with musicians from Leipzig , Eschwege , Nuremberg and Berlin .

history

Kind Kaputt was founded in 2016 and has consisted of singer Johannes Prautzsch, guitarist Konstantin Cajkin and drummer Mathis Kersch. Fabian Willi Simon, who is also a member of the band, is responsible for the visual conception such as the production of music videos , artworks and photos .

On January 18, 2018, an EP with five pieces was released with the opinion of the individual , which was published on their own. Between January 17 and February 3, 2018, the trio accompanied 8kids on their Those Who We Are Tour, which included eleven concerts throughout Germany . The year before, the band played their first tour of Germany with Kaffkönig .

On March 22, 2019, the band's debut album was released with Zerfall , this time on Uncle M Music . On March 23, 2019, the band started another tour of Germany, which ended on May 26, 2019 after thirteen performances with a concert in Kassel .

On April 8, 2020, the album cycle of the album "Zerfall" was declared over. As a result, the band announced a new single on April 13th via their social media channels, which was released on April 23rd and is called "Lighter".

The band's music is described as German-speaking post-hardcore , which is comparable to Heisskalt , Fjørt and Van Holzen , without sounding like a copy of these groups. The music comes across as much more poppy than that of its genre colleagues. Occasionally even musical influences from Stick to Your Guns are attested. According to the music magazine Visions , which decay has named as one of the albums of the week, the music recall the theatrical post-hardcore of Marathon Man , which also still impetuous than 2,017 published debut album To those who we were by the 8kids but disillusioned same.
