Church of Pahren
The Evangelical Lutheran , listed church in Pahren is in the walled church cemetery of Pahren , a district of the town of Zeulenroda-Triebes in the Greiz district of Thuringia . The parish Pahren belongs to the parish area Langenwolschendorf in the church district Greiz of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

In place of the church mentioned in the 17th century, a new one was built in 1774. In 1860 it was renewed and got its current appearance as a hall church . The nave , which is covered with a gable roof , has a stepped gable and a portico in the west . There is a frieze below the eaves . The retracted choir tower in the east is covered with a bulbous hood on which a pointed helmet sits. To the east of the tower is an apse with a straight end. The interior has a gallery and is covered with a flat ceiling.
The church furnishings include a baptismal font and a crucifix from the 17th century. The pulpit altar was installed in 1860. The organ with 12 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , was built in 1920 by Karl-Heinrich Voigt.
