Kirill Kolpakov (born July 19, 1982 ) is a former Estonian ice hockey player who played for a dozen different clubs in Estonia, but also abroad.

Career

Kirilii Kolpakov began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of HK Narva 2000 , for whom he made his debut at the age of 17 in the Meistriliiga and with which he became Estonian national champion in 2001 . He then moved to HK Riga 2000 , which he left after a year to go to Sweden for the first time, where he played for the Rönnängs IK in the fourth-class Swedish Division 2 . In the following years he played quickly in Belarus for HK Brest , in his Estonian homeland for Tallinn Stars and Tartu Big Diamonds , in Sweden for Svegs IK, AIK Härnösand , Tyringe SoSS , Nynäshamns IF , with the In 2009 he rose from Division 2 to third-class Division 1 and the Boro / Vetlanda HC , in the UK for the Chelmsford Chieftains and in Latvia for the ASK Ogre . After the 2012/13 season, which he had spent in Nynäshamn, he ended his career.

International

In the junior division, Kolpakov took part for Estonia in the U18 World Championships in European Division 1 in 1999 and 2000 as well as in the U20-C World Championship in 2000 , the U20 World Championship in Division II in 2001 and the U20 World Championship in Division III in 2002 .

For the men's national team , he first played at the B World Cup in 2000 . After switching to the current division system, he took part in the World Championships of Division I in 2003 , 2004 , 2005 , 2006 , 2007 and 2008 as well as Division II in 2002 , 2009 and 2010 . He also represented his colors in qualifying for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin .
