Kish Air ( Persian هواپیمایی کیش) is an Iranian airline based in Tehran and based at Tehran-Mehrabad Airport .
history
Kish Air was founded on December 16, 1989. It is named after the island of Kish in the Persian Gulf .
Due to the high average age of the fleet, it is planned to rejuvenate it with aircraft from Airbus or Embraer .
Destinations
Kish Air flies to both domestic and Middle Eastern destinations from Tehran .

Incidents
- On February 10, 2004, a Fokker 50 with the aircraft registration EP-LCA crashed on Kish Air flight 7170 while approaching Sharjah Airport in the United Arab Emirates , killing 43 of the 46 occupants (see also Kish Air flight 7170 ) .
