Payam Air is an Iranian cargo airline based in Tehran and based at Tehran's Mehrabad Airport .
history
The airline was founded in 1996 and is 50% owned by the Iran Telecommunications Company and the Islamic Republic of Iran Post Company . Until January 2005, the company operated two Ilyushin Il-76s , which had since been retired .
With 245 employees in March 2007, Payam Air is the largest service provider for the Iranian post and commercial offers. In addition to flight operations, it also operates Payam Airport and a logistics center in Karaj , where the Iranian Post has a hub.
Destinations
In addition to Frankfurt-Hahn , destinations in Georgia have also been served since 1998 . Since the use of the EMB 110, only regional flights in the Middle East can be operated.

As of June 2016, the Payam Air fleet consists of five Embraer EMB 110s .
In the past, Payam Air also operated Antonov An-26 , Boeing 727-200F , Ilyushin Il-76 and Shaanxi Y-8 .
