The steam locomotive series kkStB 7 was a fast train - Tender Locomotive series of Imperial Austrian State Railways (kkStB), the locomotives originally from the Empress Elisabeth Railway came (KEB).

The eight type 1B express train locomotives procured by KEB were delivered by the StEG locomotive factory (Type 69) in 1879–1880. They had with CEF, paragraphs 6, 7, 13, 29, 30, 39, 46 and 207 as well as the names MELK " , TRAISEN" , PENZING " , PAGE STETTEN" , HAAG " , KREMSMÜNSTER" , FIVE HOUSE " and GREIN . They were initially classified as A III by the kkStB and later given the designation  7.01-08 .

After the First World War , the remaining six class 7 locomotives came to the BBÖ , which they retired by 1929.

Finally, it should be noted that the 1B express locomotives, initially classified as kkStB 7.21–26 by the Galician Carl Ludwig Railway , were given the series designation 107 in 1904 .
