Klapperläubli around 1900 (postcard)

Klapperläubli is the name of the arbor on Nydeggstalden in Bern ( Switzerland ) formed by the top four houses on the sunny side (numbers 32 to 38 ).

The Klapperläubli begins at the top of Nydeggstalden on the sunny side with house number 32 and ends in the lower Postgasse . The name comes from the noise of the nearby protective mill.

The house inscription (number 32) I every Labe isch from true happiness it Stöubli, sünsch ask nume here in Chlapperlöubli is attributed to the Bernese dialect poet Rudolf von Tavel .
