Nägeligasse (Bern)

The Nägeligasse is a street in the city of Bern ( Switzerland ).

The Nägeligasse flows into Waisenhausplatz in the west and Kornhausplatz in the east and it crosses with Predigergasse .

history

With the demolition of the large armory and the construction of the new girls' school and the Zions chapel in 1876, an alley was created between Waisenhausplatz and Predigergasse. This was named on November 19, 1877 after Hans Franz Nägeli , the former mayor. After the demolition of the preacher monastery and the old riding school, Nägeligasse could be extended to Kornhausplatz in 1898.
