Klaus Ebeling
Klaus Ebeling (born November 27, 1931 in Berlin ; † March 7, 2011 there ) was a German actor .
Life
Klaus Ebeling grew up as the second son of a prompter and the actor Rudolf Ebeling (* 1905, died 1944) in Berlin-Mitte at Johannesstrasse 22. The buildings at Johannesstrasse No. 5–7 and No. 22 were completely destroyed by Anglo-American bombing attacks during attempts to hit the main telegraph office in Oranienburgerstrasse. In the last days of World War II, Klaus Ebeling was identified as a Hitlerite belonging to the Volkssturm . Boy badly wounded by grenade launcher fragments.
He was able to finish the middle school he had started after the war, he began to work on the construction, worked as a journalist as a people's correspondent and camera assistant and came across a newspaper report about the shooting of the feature film Confusion of Love for DEFA. This production took place in the same Babelsberg studio hall in which, through his father's mediation, he had already worked as a six-year-old boy under the direction of Karl Anton at the side of Camilla Horn and Werner Peters in a movie made by Lloyd-Film GmbH (Berlin).
From the end of the 1950s, Ebeling turned as an actor in many DEFA and DFF film productions . Because of his height and distinctive nose, he often played roles as SA / SS man, Wehrmacht soldier, crook, police officer, worker, etc. Ebeling's sponsors included directors Günter Reisch , Manfred Wekwerth and actor Harald Engelmann . In addition to theater roles - for example in the Plauen City Theater - Ebeling was also involved as a director for productions by workers' and peasant theater ensembles and in 1998/1999 took part in two productions of the cabaret " Die Kiebitzensteiner " in Halle .
He was a speaker in numerous radio play productions of the GDR radio . In the biographical original sound feature I was also the ghost of Hamlet's father - Mrs. Bechstein , the Führer and Klaus Ebeling , which Günter Kotte produced for MDR radio in 2007, told Ebeling about his career as a supporting role player.
