Klaus Heuermann

Klaus Heuermann (born March 5, 1970 in Bremerhaven ) is a German jazz violinist, jazz violist and jazz guitarist.

Life

Heuermann studied classical music and jazz at the Musikhochschule Bremen and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover . He has worked in various orchestras in Germany, including the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and the NDR Sinfonieorchester (Hamburg), but also for theater music. He performed with the Havelka String Quartet for the NDR-Hanover and is arranger / composer for various pop music projects with strings (with Patrick Nuo , Phillip Kacza, Ulle Rode ( Rosenstolz ), Christian Decker , Hervé Jeanne , Marquess , Jens Krause , among others , Adoro , Nils Brunkhorst ). He also worked with Joo Kraus and the Turtle Island String Quartet and is the violist of the current Jazz-Art Niedersachsen project 2010/2011 by Ulli Orth and Andy Mokrus.

He is the producer / composer and arranger of Hyerman and Wachgeküßt , a project with Mrs. Niedersachsen Anke Maßmann . He is also the violinist of the 1920s ensemble "Grammophon & Schellack".

As a jazz musician, he moves in neo-swing with influences from swing , bebop and cool jazz . He is currently performing with his own bass / guitar duo, Anthracite .
