Klaus Kocks (born March 13, 1952 in Oberhausen ) is a German economist , social scientist and PR consultant .

Life

Kocks studied economics and social sciences , German studies and philosophy at the Ruhr University Bochum and then worked there as a research assistant and as a teacher at a grammar school until he received his doctorate . From 1981 he worked in public relations at Ruhrkohle AG and then at various other companies, including Aral , VIAG , VAW Aluminum , and Ruhrgas ; At Volkswagen , he was a member of the Volkswagen Board of Management for the Communication division.

Since 2001, Kocks has been an honorary professor and lecturer for corporate communications at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences . He ran an opinion research company and is the managing partner of a communications consultancy.

Due to numerous television appearances, Kocks became known as a "professional talk show guest".
