Klaus Alfons Mühe (* 1941 in Brandenburg an der Havel ) is a former German politician ( SED ).

Life

Mühe learned the profession of electrical fitter in the steel and rolling mill in Brandenburg . He was an FDJ and SED functionary in various district leaderships and in the SED district leadership in Potsdam . He qualified as a graduate engineer and graduated as a graduate social scientist .

Until December 1985 he was deputy mayor and chairman of the Brandenburg (Havel) city ​​planning commission . On December 20, 1985, he was elected Lord Mayor by the Brandenburg City Council. He held this office until 1990. He signed twinning agreements with Kaiserslautern (1988) and Magnitogorsk (1989). In June 1990 he was sentenced to a fine of 5000 GDR marks for fraudulent elections in the local elections in the GDR in 1989 .
