The Klavdiya Yelanskaya ( Russian Клавдия Еланская ) (dt. Klavdiia Jelanskaja) is a passenger ship of OAO Murmanskoje Morskoje parohodstwo and was in 1977 as a ship of the line of enhanced ice class at the shipyard Titovo Brodogradiliste in Kraljevica in Yugoslavia for state Murmansk Shipping Company (ГП Мурманское морское пароходство ММФ СССР) built in Murmansk (Soviet Union). It belongs to the Mariya Yermolova class , project 1454. The ship bears the name of the Soviet drama actress, Stalin Prize winner first degree (1952) Klawdija Jelanskaja .

The ship with hull number 416 was built in 1977 in Yugoslavia for the Soviet Union . The ship was not only used for regular services for civilians, miners on Svalbard and for members of the Soviet Army stationed in Angola , Cuba and over the Arctic Circle , but also as a cruise ship for trips to Norway , Denmark , Finland , Germany and France . Trips on the Franz Josef Land - Dudinka - Igarka - Novaya Zemlya - Solovetsky Islands - Arkhangelsk route were particularly unique . On the island of Sosnovets in the White Sea, Neptune Festival with polar baptism was held overboard. From April to June 2018, the ship was used on the Murmansk - Ostrownoj - Murmansk route.
