Klein-Harras is a place and a cadastral community of the market town of Matzen-Raggendorf on the border between the Weinviertel hill country and the Marchfeld in Lower Austria , approx. 35 km east of Vienna . The municipality is not only known for its wines, it is also one of the largest oil deposits in Europe. The cadastral community bears the name of Kleinharras .

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were 235 building areas on a total of 72352 m² and 136 gardens on 74,579 m², in 1989/1990 there were also 235 building areas and gardens. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 294. In 2009/2010 there were 704 building sites on which there were 318 buildings.
The village is dominated by agriculture. At the turn of the year 1979/1980 5466 hectares were used for agriculture, 443 hectares were cultivated and 3013 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 5420 hectares, 411 hectares were cultivated with vines and 3053 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 5316 hectares were used as agricultural land, wine was grown on 277 hectares and forestry was carried out on 3089 hectares.
