Small Kranichau is a hamlet-like district of the city of Torgau in Nordsachsen in Saxony .

Klein-Kranichau is only about 500 meters south of Kranichau directly on the federal highway 182 on the Beckwitzer-Belgernsche valley sand plain west of an oxbow lake of the Elbe and the somewhat more distant river.
history
The development of Klein Kranichau is similar to that of Kranichau and cannot be separated. Both were once Gutsvorwerke and were first mentioned in 1251 (see history of Kranichau). Klein Kranichau was reclassified to the town of Torgau on January 1st, 2009 with Pflückuff .
