The Kleine Lafatscher is 2636 m above sea level. A. high summit of the Gleirsch-Halltal chain in the Karwendel , which flanked the Lafatscher Joch ( 2081 m above sea level ) on the western side . It can be reached from the Halltal in approx. 4 hours or from the Hallerangerhaus in approx. 2.5 hours. The ascent to the summit via the southeast ridge begins at Lafatscher Joch (pathless, passages I). One of the most famous climbing routes of the Karwendel (level of difficulty IV +, variant VI-, first climbed in 1932 by Matthias Auckenthaler ) leads through the striking northeast intersection .
