The Small Uran ( Russian Малый Уран ( Maly Uran )) is a 197 km long right tributary of the Samara in the southeast of the European part of Russia .

course

The small uranium originates in the Orenburg Oblast in the forest steppe of the Obschtschi Syrt ridge . From there it flows north-west through the agricultural, sparsely populated landscape of the Orenburg Oblast.

After passing the urban-type settlement Jasnogorski , the river turns to the west and now flows at a distance of a few kilometers almost parallel to the Tok , which is also a tributary of the Samara.

To the north of Sorochinsk , the Small Uranium turns to the southwest, and finally reaches the Samara opposite the settlement Nikolayevka.

The small uranium, which is mainly fed by melt water, is frozen on average from late November / early December to April.
