Hévíz small area

The small area Hévíz ( Hungarian Hévízi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within the Zala County in western Transdanubia . It was created on September 25, 2007 when the Keszthely-Hévíz small area was divided and was dissolved on December 31, 2012. The eight villages went into the district of Keszthely (Hungarian Keszthelyi járás ).

At the end of 2012, 13,171 people lived in an area of ​​123.60 km². The population density of the smallest small area was 106 inhabitants / km² and was above the county average.

The administrative seat was in Hévíz , the only city (4,375 Ew.). The seven parishes had an average population of 1215.
