Small area Sümeg

The small area Sümeg ( Hungarian Sümegi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within Veszprém County in Central Transdanubia until the end of 2012 . With the administrative reform at the beginning of 2013, the small area was transferred unchanged to the Sümeg District (Hungarian : Sümegi járás ).

At the end of 2012, 15,390 inhabitants lived in the small area on an area of ​​306.48 km². The small area Sümeg had the second lowest population and density (50 inhabitants / km²) in the county.

The administrative seat was the only city Sümeg (6.357 Ew.).
