Small area Zirc

The small area Zirc ( Hungarian Zirci kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within Veszprém County in Central Transdanubia until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform of 2013 it was mainly transferred to the following district Zirc (Hungarian Zirci járás ), the municipality of Eplény was assigned to the Veszprém district .

At the end of 2012, 20,032 inhabitants lived in the small area of ​​Zirc on an area of ​​339.30 km². With 59 inhabitants / km² the population density was below the value of the county.

The administrative seat was the only city Zirc (7.106 Ew.).
