Small area Pápa
The small area Pápa ( Hungarian Pápai kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within the Veszprém county in Hungary until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform of 2013, the small area was almost completely transferred to the subsequent district of Pápa (Hungarian Pápai járás ). The Farkasgyepgy municipality came to Ajka County , from which the Bakonypölöske municipality came to Pápa County, so that the number of villages remained constant at 49.
At the end of 2012, 58,930 inhabitants lived in the small area of Pápa on an area of 1,021.10 km² (largest small area in the county). With 58 inhabitants / km² the population density was the second lowest in the county .
The administrative seat was in the only city Pápa (31.528 Ew.).
