Tapolca small area

The small area Tapolca ( Hungarian Tapolcai kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within Veszprém County in Central Transdanubia until the end of 2012 . With the administrative reform at the beginning of 2013, the small area was transferred unchanged to the Tapolca district ( Tapolcai járás in Hungarian ).

At the end of 2012, 34,689 inhabitants lived in the small area on an area of ​​540.30 km². The small area was with a population density of 64 inhabitants / km² below that of the county (78 inhabitants / km²).

The administrative seat was in the largest city Tapolca .
