Small area of ​​Balatonfüred

The small area Balatonfüred (Hungarian Balatonfüredi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within the Veszprém county in central Transdanubia until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform of 2013, the small area was completely transferred to the subsequent district of Balatonfüred (Hungarian: Balatonfüredi járás ). The municipality Alsóörs of the small area Balatonalmadi was assigned to this new district .

At the end of 2012, 22,664 people lived in the small area of ​​Balatonfüred on an area of ​​324.41 km². With 70 inhabitants / km² the population density was below the county average (78 inhabitants / km²).

The administrative seat was in the only city Balatonfüred (13.313 Ew.).
