Small area of ​​Balatonalmádi

The small area Balatonalmádi (Hungarian Balatonalmádi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within the Veszprém county in central Transdanubia . As part of the administrative reform at the beginning of 2013, eight localities were transferred to the subsequent Balatonalmádi district (in Hungarian: Balatonalmádi járás ), the Alsóörs community moved to the Balatonfüred district , and the Szentkirályszabadja community to the Veszprém district . The municipality of Balatonvilágos was assigned to the Siófok district in Somogy county at the same time .

At the end of 2012, 27,183 inhabitants lived in the small area of ​​Balatonalmádi on an area of ​​29.38 km². The population density of 93 inhabitants / km² was higher than the county average of 78 inhabitants / km².

The administrative seat was in Balatonalmádi .
