Küngös is a Hungarian municipality in the Balatonalmádi district in Veszprém county . The district Bakonymajor belongs to the municipality .
Geographical location
Küngös is located about 20 kilometers east of the town of Veszprém , six kilometers from the eastern bank of Lake Balaton , on the small river Börkös-réti-patak . Neighboring communities are Csajág and Berhida .

In Küngös there is a kindergarten, library, post office, mayor's office as well as a Reformed and a Roman Catholic church. There is also a leisure and sports club founded in 2010 ( Küngösi Szabadidő és Sport Egyesület ).

The road no. 7207 runs through Küngös. The town's train station is out of order because passenger traffic on the route from Lepsény to Veszprém was suspended in 2007, so travelers have to use the train station in Csajág, three kilometers to the south.
