Balatonfűzfő is a Hungarian city in the Balatonalmádi district in Veszprém county . The districts of Csebere, Tobruk, Mámatető and Fűzfőgyártelep belong to the place.
Geographical location
The city is located at the northernmost point of the eastern part of Lake Balaton on the small river Fűzfői Séd , which flows into Lake Balaton in the village. Neighboring communities are Balatonalmádi , Litér , Királyszentistván, Papkeszi and Balatonkenese.
history
In the 1920s, a gunpowder and a paper factory were established in Balatonfűzfő. In 2000 the former municipality was given city status.

In Balatonfűzfő the highways No. 7213 and No. 722 as well as the main roads No. 71 , No. 72 and No. 710 converge. The city is also connected to the railway line from Székesfehérvár to Tapolca . The Balaton cycle path leads through the village .
