71-es főút ( Hungarian for 'main street 71') is a Hungarian main street . It separates from the 7-es főút southwest of Lepsény , crosses the Autópálya M7 motorway and mostly runs close to the shore, initially on the northeast bank through Balatonfűzfő , where the 72-es főút branches off to Veszprém , and from Balatonalmádi on the long northwest bank of Lake Balaton. along. In Csopak the 73-as főút from Veszprém meets them. The road continues through Balatonfüred and Balatonakali as well as Révfülöp and Badacsonytomaj to Balatonederics , where the 84-es főút meets it. In Keszthely the 75-ös főút branches off to the west. The road bypasses the western end of Lake Balaton and ends after another 7.5 km at 76-os főút , which leads back to 7-es főút. While the 7-es főút opens up the south-east bank of Lake Balaton, the 71-es főút serves the north-west bank.
The total length of the road is 116 kilometers.
