87-es főút ( Hungarian for 'main street 87') is a Hungarian main street . It leads from Kám , where it branches off from 8-as főút to the northwest, over the Rába (German: Raab) river to Szombathely (German: Steinamanger), which is bypassed in the east (here also part of European route 65 ). The 86-os főút is crossed, the north-eastern section of which from Csorna to Szombathely has now been expanded as the Autópálya M86 motorway. Between Szombathely and Gencsapáti , the Austrian branch branches off to the westBorder-leading 89-es főút from. The 87-es főút continues north-north-west to the border town of Kőszeg (German: Güns) and crosses the border to Austria at Rattersdorf 4.5 km further north-west .

The total length of the road is 48.5 kilometers.
