The road, which also forms part of the European route 66 , branches off from 7-es főút in Székesfehérvár (Stuhlweissenburg) to the west and leads via Várpalota , Veszprém , Devecser , Vasvár (iron castle ), Körmend to the Hungarian-Austrian border at Rábafüzes ( Raab-Fidisch) north of Szentgotthárd , where it turns into Gleisdorfer Straße B65 towards Graz .

The total length of the road is 190 kilometers.
