51-es főút ( Hungarian for 'main street 51') is a Hungarian main street . It begins in Budapest on the Autóút M0 ring road at junction 24b and first leads around Dunaharaszti to the bank of the eastern arm of the Danube opposite Szigethalom , where it meets road 510. It continues at some distance from the river through Kiskunlacháza and Dömsöd , then crosses the county border between Pest and Bács-Kiskun counties and bypasses Dunavecse in the east. South of Dunavecse, it crosses the Autópálya M8 motorway , a short section of which has been built with the Pentele Bridge over the Danube. In Solt it crosses the 52-es főút . At Harta it approaches the Danube again, then reaches Kalocsa and south of Dusnok the M9-es autóút , which creates an expressway connection to the west across the Danube. In Sükösd , the 54-es főút coming from Kecskemét hits the road. In Baja the 55-ös főút is crossed, which also forms a bridge connection over the Danube. The road continues south via Nagybaracska to Hercegszántó , the Hungarian border town, and crosses the border to Serbia before Bački Breg . The total length is 122 kilometers.
