56-os főút ( Hungarian for 'main street 56') is a Hungarian main street . It forms part of the European route 73 . The road branches off north of Szekszárd from the Hungarian 6-os főút and leads via Bátaszék and Mohács partly on the west bank of the Danube to the Hungarian-Croatian border , which it reaches at Udvar. Here it merges into the Croatian Državna cesta D7 . Its total length is 61 kilometers.
