Autópálya M51 ( Hungarian for 'M51 motorway') is a motorway in Hungary to the south of Budapest . It connects the Autópálya M5 and the Autópálya M0 . The new construction section of the M0 expressway in the southern section was carried out with a concrete ceiling and 6 lanes (+ emergency lane) between the main road 51 and the M5 motorway. The route between kilometers 24 and 30 was opened to traffic on August 31, 2013. Since the opening of traffic, the previous route of the M0 between main road 51 and the Soroksár junction (kilometers 24 to 28) has been run as the M51 motorway.
