55-ös főút ( Hungarian for 'main street 55') is a Hungarian main street . It starts in Szeged at 5-ös főút and heads west, passing Domaszék , and through Mórhalom and further over the intersection with 53-as főút and through Mélykút to Baja (German: Frankenstadt), where the 51- it is crossed főút . It runs relatively close to the Serbian-Hungarian border . It crosses the Danube west of Baja and continues to Bátaszék , where it meets and ends at 56-os főút (also European route 73 ). The total length is 122 kilometers.
