history

From 1976 to 2008 a relief road was built in Salgótarján east of national road 21. It was first called Neue 21 in the city and then became State Road 210 and was 6.6 km long.

With the introduction of the electronic toll system on July 1, 2013, state road 210 was upgraded to state road 21. The devalued part of Landesstraße 21 became 3.5 km long road 2307 in the south. The northern part and 200 m of Bemstraße became state road 211.
