Szigethalom is a Hungarian town in the county Szigetszentmiklós in Pest County .
Geographical location
Szigethalom is located on the Csepel Island , between Tököl and Szigetszentmiklós , a good 10 kilometers south of the Hungarian capital Budapest .
history
Szigethalom was founded as an independent municipality in 1950 and has been a town since 2004.
