Kleinropperhausen is a district of Ottrau in the Schwalm-Eder district in Hesse . Three groups of houses and the hamlet of Lenzenmühle come together to form Kleinropperhausen.

Geographical location

The small street village is about 2 km north of Ottrau on the foothills of the Knüllgebirge . The Grenff flows north past in an east-west direction . The state road  3158 runs through the village. The now disused railway line Bad Hersfeld – Treysa , also known as the Knüllwaldbahn , ran past the village .

history

The place was first mentioned in a document in 1380. On April 1, 1972, the municipality of Kleinropperhausen gave up its independence and the village became part of the municipality of Ottrau. Since January 1, 1974, the Ottrau community has been part of the newly formed Schwalm-Eder district.
