history

In the 16th century, a trade route led across the plateau from Ledeč nad Sázavou via Přibyslavice, Bratčice and Zehuby to Přelouč , and crossed the Haberner Steig in Vystrkov bei Bratčice. On this path, which is known in sections as the “Časlavská cesta” ( Čáslavská cesta ), a single-layer stretch was created , which was named “Kocanda” because of its remote location.

At the end of the 18th century it belonged to the Holman family, from 1817 to Mr. Plotzar, then to the Kratochvíl family and from 1839 to Matěj Horák. The owners of the allodial rule Žleb approved the construction of some chalets next to the Ausspanne during this period. In 1840 the one-layer Kozanda , enrolled in the rustic village of Přibislawitz , consisted of five houses, including the Dominical inn and a potash factory. The Kozander pond was one of the 18 stately fish ponds and was used as a stretch pond.

After the abolition of patrimonial Kocanda formed a settlement of the municipality Přibyslavice in the judicial district of Časlau , Caslaver Kreis. From 1868 the place belonged to the Časlau district .

The increase in road traffic brought the inn a solid turnover for a long time. The last innkeepers were the Schovanec family from 1922. With the expansion of a new road network for car traffic, the road leading via Kocanda lost all meaning in the interwar period, with the cessation of through traffic, the restaurant lost its livelihood and was converted into a residential building.

In the course of the territorial reform of 1960 the Okres Čáslav was repealed; Kocanda was incorporated together with Přibyslavice to Vlkaneč and assigned to the Okres Kutná Hora. At the beginning of 2015, Kocanda consisted of seven houses and had four residents. Most of the houses are used as holiday homes. The former breakout is now house No. 26.
